In recognition of National Small Business Week, IRS is partnering with other federal agencies to provide just-in-time information and resources for small business owners. Join us for a virtual workshop with guest speakers from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Small Business Administration (SBA), and Department of Labor (DOL) Wage and Hour Division. FTC will discuss cost-effective steps you can take to protect personal information, how to respond to a data breach, how to assist customers with their recovery, and where to access local resources. SBA will provide an overview of various services provided by the SBA and their Resource Partner Network. DOL will provide an overview of employer responsibilities and helpful resources for small business owners. IRS will discuss requirements for making estimated tax payments, maintaining records, and the various resources available to small business owners on IRS.gov There will also be live Q & A. This workshop is hosted on Microsoft Teams.
